Nana Data Policy
Nana needs context to make guidance more relevant. That does not make your information ours. This page explains, in plain language, what we ask for, why we ask for it and the choices you have.
CONTENTS
01
What Nana may learn from you
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you give, this may include:
- account and profile information;
- sport, training volume and workout data;
- cycle, contraception and symptom information;
- fuelling preferences and feedback;
- sleep, stress, recovery and perceived effort;
- device and app-use information needed to operate and improve Nana.
02
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- provide and personalise Nana’s guidance;
- show you patterns and progress;
- keep the service secure and working;
- improve the product and its safeguards;
- communicate with you where you have asked us to.
03
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal health data.
- We do not use sensitive health information to shame you or pressure you into training.
- We do not give employers, coaches, insurers or other third parties access to your identifiable data without an appropriate legal basis or your direction.
- We do not collect intimate information simply because it may be interesting.
04
Your choices
You can review and update information in your account, manage eligible permissions and integrations, and request access, correction or deletion in line with applicable law. You can also stop using Nana and disconnect integrations at any time.
05
Research and product learning
Where we use aggregated or de-identified information to understand patterns or improve Nana, we take steps designed to prevent it from being linked back to you. If a project requires identifiable or additional sensitive information, we will explain it and seek the permission or other lawful basis required.
